BTS continues their awe inspiring trajectory as they set forth to release new music to millions of new fans. Just weeks from the final Las Vegas Permission to Dance stage in which they dropped the metaphorical bomb that a comeback was in sigh, the bulletproof boy scouts kicked off the month of May with the official new album name, preorder and concept.

Thursday May 6th KST began with yet another countdown video on their official YouTube page where they took fans old and new down memory lane from their beginning in 2013 to their last music release in 2021. Finishing up by revealing the name of their next album, PROOF, as the phrase “we are bulletproof” filled the black screen. This was followed up by a statement from HYBE detailing what the new album would bring forth.

“After ceaselessly sprinting forward since 2013, BTS is celebrating their 9th anniversary this coming June. It is all thanks to ARMY who have sent us your unwavering love and support,” reads the statement.

“The BTS anthology album that embodies the history of BTS will be released as they begin a new chapter as an artist that has been active for nine years to look back on their past endeavors.

The anthology album “PROOF” that consists of three CDs includes many different tracks – including three all-new tracks – that reflect the thoughts and ideas of the members on the past, present and future of BTS.” This statement was also accompanied by the first look at the album cover which perfectly unifies the subplot bulletproof vest that has become the grips symbol as well as spelling out the album name.

The title of the album was not lost on ARMY as they immediately realized the hunts have been there all along as RM spoke about ARMY being their “proof” during day one of the Permission to Dance Las Vegas concert. Once again, the seven members proved they are masters of hiding clues in plain sight.

The anthology album will span 9 years of hard work and dedication – 9 years of blood, sweat and tears – as well as brining fans new music to enjoy. After the gift of BE, and three English tracks, the fan base has grown immensely so it makes perfect sense and is extremely smart yo put out an album that gives these new listeners a condensed look at their discography, eventually leading them to visit (or revisit in the case of older fans) their older albums from 2013 to 2021. Who lows, maybe everyone will be sure owed and gifted with new version of fan favorite tracks (can we get an instrumental “Black Swan”?)

Preorder as for PROOF are open from Thursday, May 5 to Thursday, June 9, 2022, just before the June 10th release. The album is being released in two versions, standard and compact, each containing different items.
