It’s official, BTS’s J-Hope is releasing a collaboration with none other than Becky G.
The internet has been abuzz for weeks as a possible collaboration between the singers began to be rumored. J-Hope has mentioned various times in interviews that he would love to collaborate with the feisty Latina and they finally met at this year’s Billboard Awards held in May.
The fire was fueled when J-Hope flew to LA amidst the groups “period of rest” just a few weeks ago while Becky G posted a mysterious Instagram video of shopping for Korean snacks.
Cut to this week when Becky tweeted she had another secret (she recently dropped a signal titled “Secret”), followed by BTS tweeting “Hey Becky G, I have a secret too” with the hashtag CNS. Thursday, the collaboration was officially confirmed.
In a statement, Bih Hit revealed that “Chicken Noodle Soup (feat.Becky G)” was the song that J-Hope first learned to dance. In the new track, J-Hope quoted the chorus and recreated the unique swag style he also wrote his lyrics about his dreams in Korean while Becky G will sing in Spanish.
