“Some people move on,” says Captain America. “But not us …”
These are the only words we get to hear in the latest Avengers: End Game Trailer they dropped during today’s big game.
The 30 second spot is a mournful one as we see some new clues to the world post Thanos finger snap. First, there’s a mist-shrouded Manhattan. An empty Citi Field with a packed parking lot. There appear to be cranes removing the cars. The Snap must have happened in the middle of a game. We see the Statue of Liberty, surrounded by docks and boats.
“Where do we go, now that they’re gone?” reads what looks like a public service announcement flyer. There are glimpses of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) working on some tech with Nebula (Karen Gillan) aboard the Benatar in outer space, and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) attending what appears to be a support group of some kind.
What we know so far is that Ant-Man is lost in the quantum realm, Hawkeye is now known as Ronin and in some unknown mission while Cap and Black Widow work on a plan that will somehow save what’s left of living beings in the universe.
Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Brie Larson and Paul Rudd.
