All hail, the king.
The first trailer for Disney’s The Lion King Live-action film has just dropped. Debuting during the Washington Redskins football game the trailer took us back to 1994 when the animated film was first released.
“One day, the sun will set on my time here,” Mufasa, once again voiced by James Earl Jones, says to his young son Simba (voiced by Donald Glover). “And will rise with you as the new king.
DirectorJon Favreau is at the helm with a star studded voiceover cast that includes Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, John Oliver as Zazu, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, and Billy Eichner as Timon.
