BTS has done it again. The 7 member group not only just dropped the music video for “IDOL” but the newest album Love Yourself: Answer has hit #1 on the iTunes Charts. Their ARMY is hard at work and it’s only day one of the much anticipated comeback.
The album contains some are new songs, while other were originally featured on prior Love Yourself albums, including past singles “DNA” and “Fake Love.” The album also contains several alternative versions, including a “Pedal 2 LA” remix of “DNA” and an extended version of “Serendipity.” It also contains the fan favorite “Euphoria.”
Love Yourself: Answer’s release comes ahead of the BTS’ upcoming Love Yourself world tour, which will bring the group to North America at the start of next month. They’ll close out the local leg of the tour with a historic, sold-out show at New York City’s Citi Field, the first-ever stadium-size Stateside show by a Korean act.
The music video for “IDOL” has the catchy hook of “i love myself” which is the main concept of the album and seems to be a heavy dig at anyone whose ever said negative things about the group. You can say all you want about them but that won’t stop them from loving themselves. A message which they share to their fan base as they always encourage their ARMY to love themselves.
