Every maze has an end.
Glazers can take a collective breath of relief as the much awaited final installment of The Maze Runner series is finally here.

20th Century Fox has debuted the first trailer for MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE, the final installment of the trilogy from director Wes Ball. All questions are answered as Thomas and the remaining Gladers lead their final charge to save their friends and defeat WCKD in their most grueling maze yet.

Production for the film was at a standstill after the on set injury Dylan O’Brien suffered last year. The film had been slated for a February 2017 release but will now open January 26, 2018.

“I really was in a dark place there for a while and it wasn’t an easy journey back,” O’Brien said of the accident. “There was a time there where I didn’t know if I would ever do it again… and that thought scared me, too.” He added, “In a lot of ways, those six months went by like that. And then, in a lot of ways, I can still remember that six months as if it was five years of my life.”

Now, O’Brien is back as Thomas and is ready to lead the Gladers in a final assault on the legendary Last City, a labyrinth controlled by their enemies that could be the group’s most dangerous trials yet. They need to save their friends and find the cure for the disease known as “The Flare,” but those that live to the end will also finally get the answers they’ve been searching for since their arrival in the maze.

Directed by Wes’s Ball The Death Cure also stars Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Katherine McNamara, Nathalie Emmanuel, Rosa Salazar, Patricia Clarkson, Barry Pepper, Giancarlo Esposito, and Walton Goggins.
