In midst of their upcoming US headlining tour with Thirty Seconds To Mars, Muse released a new track called “Dig Down”. For the past couple of weeks, the band has been dropping behind of scenes video teasers of their announced new single/video, “Dig Down” all over their social media pages.

Just hours ago, the single with the accompanying explosive music video was unveiled. Muse’s “Dig Down” can be described as a hypnotizing, thumping ‘Madness 2.0’ by many. However, the track contains music experimentations that have been explored in previous albums, The 2nd Law and Drones to a much greater level.

The music video is a continuous journey of the previous visual stories from their Drones era. The clip features a young woman who has been in violent battle and has been left injured but as Muse’ frontman, Matt Bellamy brilliant sings, ‘We must find a way.” The woman gets the strength to pick herself up and continue to fight against evil.

Whether you are a lifelong or casual fan, you have to give the band praise for not only featuring a woman to be their resilient video hero, but for also bringing endless motivation with their lyrics to the world that has been shaken with darkness and despair.

You can now purchase “Dig Down” on iTunes and see the new video below.
