Old time fans of the original Power Rangers have nothing but love for Amy Jo Johnson, the original Pink Ranger so it was thrill to see her come back on the scene and begin attending Cons in recent years. Soon after the new film was announced there was a lot of speculation as to whether or not the OG Rangers would make cameos (and this is still to be answered).

However, as the North American Power Rangers press tour is underway we did get to see a surprise meetup between the Pink Rangers. During a Toronto press junket for the film, Amy Jo Johnson, who played the pink ranger on the Fox Kids series from 1993 to 1995, dropped in on an interview with stars Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, and Dacre Montgomery, posing as a reporter for The Daily Hive.

First to spot her is Ludi Lin and his co stars soon join in being pleasantly surprised. Johnson did get some questions in before posing for a group photo (seen above).

“It’s a very diverse cast. I think, in the movie, [the filmmakers are] definitely very specific about what issues we’re going through, you know, what normal, 17-year-old kids go through. A kid can relate to any one of us in some way.” Scott, the new pink ranger, tells Johnson. “But I can’t do any of the acrobatics like you [used to].”

You can see the full video below before Power Rangers, which also stars Bryan Cranston, Bill Hader, Elizabeth Banks, and pop star Becky G, hits theaters nationwide March 24.
