On the morning of Jackie’s premiere at the American Film Festival, Fox Searchlight has dropped a full trailer for the film.

The new trailer gives us a broader look at Jacqueline Kennedy recounting the days after JFK was assassinated as we see how she interacts with the people closest to her (and American public at large) during these harrowing few days. Natalie Portman is a powerhouse in this role. Transforming herself into the grieving yet fierce window who will go to any lengths to have her husband’s memory honored.

Take a look at the trailer below.

Jackie will have a limited release starting December 2.

JACKIE is a searing and intimate portrait of one of the most important and tragic moments in American history, seen through the eyes of the iconic First Lady, then Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy (Natalie Portman). JACKIE places us in her world during the days immediately following her husband’s assassination. Known for her extraordinary dignity and poise, here we see a psychological portrait of the First Lady as she struggles to maintain her husband’s legacy and the world of “Camelot” that they created and loved so well.
