The nominations for the 2016 SAG Awards were announced earlier this morning and some of the year’s most popular and likely candidates were snubbed. There are no nominations for Ridley Scott’s The Martian nor it’s leading man, Matt Damon. Jennifer Lawrence (who has received rave reviews in her latest role) was also snubbed for her role in Joy, both films by 20th Century Fox.

On the TV side, Game of Thrones, Homeland and House of Cards each scored a leading three nominations, but Thrones and Homeland each received a stunt ensemble mention while Empire received none at all.

The 22nd annual SAG Awards will be handed out on Saturday, January 30, in a ceremony that will be simulcast on TNT and TBS starting at 8 p.m. ET. Carol Burnett will receive the life achievement award.
