Coldplay’s newest album, A Head Full of Dreams will be released in a few days and the band has just dropped the music video for the first single, “Adventure of a Lifetime.” The songs features a new and more joyful sound for the British band who is mostly known for slower tunes like “Yellow,” “The Scientist” and “In My Place.”

Their previous album, Ghost Stories did have “A Sky Full of Stars” as the introductory single but most of the record was more of their usual sound, smooth and mellow. “Adventure of a Lifetime” is their first full but dance tune that leads off an eclectic Head Full of Dreams.

To add to the eccentricity (and show case Chris Martin’s new found feeling of being alive) the music video for the song does not include a single band member but rather a band of orangoutangs that at one point break into synchronized dance. Now we have an explanation for their performance at the American Music Awards at least. Take a look at the video below and be sure to pre-order your copy of A Head Full of Dreams before it drops on December 4th!
